The biggest challenge during the production process was meeting the requirements of the EU Regulation on Food Contact Materials (EU No 10/2011)—components of the equipment that come into contact with oxygen, such as pipelines and valves, not only need to be made of 316L food-grade stainless steel but also pass migration tests to ensure no harmful substances are leached. To this end, GNEE collaborated with domestic material research institutes to optimize material selection, improving the polishing precision of the inner pipe walls to Ra0.8μm, and entrusted a German third-party testing agency to conduct comprehensive inspections. Eventually, all indicators met the standards. In addition to FDA certification, this food-grade PSA oxygen plant has also obtained EU 10/2011 certification. It adopts a three-stage sterile gas filtration system with a filtration precision of 0.01μm, ensuring the produced oxygen is oil-free, dust-free, and free of microorganisms, thus providing safe support for wine fermentation and modified atmosphere food preservation. The single-unit oxygen output of the equipment ranges from 10 to 100 Nm³/h, which can be flexibly customized according to the customer's production scale.
In the wine making process, different grape varieties and different fermentation stages have vastly different oxygen supply requirements. For example, Cabernet Sauvignon grapes require a higher oxygen supply in the early stage of fermentation to promote yeast reproduction, while in the later stage, oxygen supply needs to be controlled to avoid excessive oxidation. This psa oxygen gas generator is equipped with an intelligent flow control system with a precision of 0.1 Nm³/h. It can preset oxygen supply parameters for different fermentation stages through PLC programming, and is also equipped with an online oxygen purity monitor that real-time feeds back and automatically adjusts oxygen purity. A winemaker from an Italian winery said: "After using this equipment, the fermentation cycle of our Cabernet Sauvignon wine has been shortened from 28 days to 24 days. The tannin content in the wine is more balanced, and the taste is softer. The score from tasters has increased by 1.2 points compared with previous years." In the field of food preservation, a German meat processing enterprise mixes the oxygen produced by the equipment with carbon dioxide in a ratio of 3:7 for fresh meat preservation. The results show that the shelf life of fresh meat has been extended from the original 7 days to 18 days, with no significant changes in color and flavor, greatly reducing the product loss rate. The equipment also has a data recording function, which can automatically store data such as oxygen supply and oxygen purity for 12 months, facilitating customers to trace the production process and meet the requirements of EU food traceability regulations.
All exported equipment is equipped with an IoT remote monitoring system. European customers can real-time check core parameters such as equipment operation status, oxygen purity, and consumable life through a mobile APP or computer terminal. The system can also send fault warnings and consumable replacement reminders via email and SMS, significantly reducing manual inspection costs. Considering that most wineries are located in remote areas, GNEE has established service stations in Florence (Italy) and Madrid (Spain), promising to arrive at the scene within 24 hours after receiving a maintenance request. Its operating noise is only 45 decibels, which will not affect the cheese fermentation environment.
